New Addition!

After not posting for 2 years I have decided to try to blog again! Bryan and I are really excited to announce a new addition to our family and I don't even have to change the name of my blog. My life is still going to be Life with Guys! Baby boy #3 will join our family near January 5th 2012. I was a little sad we were not going to be able to go buy all the fun pink stuff but I know we'll love this little guy more than anything! Here he is so far!

Walking Zane...well sorta

Zane has been doing Physical Therapy now for about 3 months to help him walk. Because of his heart conidition that he had, it's been difficult for him and we're working on it. Well last night we decided to try and force him use the push toy, hippo. It took about two times with real help and then he was all over it. He cried when we finally had to put it away.

Sorry

I am so bad about blogging these days. My mind has been somewhere else. As silly as it may seem I can't stop thinking about Pampered Chef. I am so excited to get started up and going again. I appreciate everyone that has been willing to do a show for me and would LOVE to get a ton more of you to do one for me too! So let me know!
I am doing my Grand Opening on March 25th and we're going to have decidant brownies and a yummy pizza, so if you aren't busy please stop by for a minute at least to enjoy some yummy food and see what's new!

30 and Fabulous!

Well ok not really. I just am totally happy I'm 30 today. I have no problem with it. I keep saying 30 is going to be my year. I'm going to be happier and healthier than ever before! We'll see. I guess considering some of things I've been through in the last few years I just feel like I do know who I am. Guess it's kinda sad it's taken me 30 years but I have no doubts about me or my beliefs anymore. I feel like I'm more tolerant of others but I am unwavering in my faith and my desire to do good. I'm happy to have my husband of 9 years by my side. He is so understanding and forgiving and I know I would never be treated so well by another man. I am lucky to have two wonderful boys who bring a lot of learning, especially about patience BUT also a lot of joy into my life. I never thought I'd be satisfied being a mother.

So out of my 20's I pass and into a brighter new year!

52 Pick Me Up

I got this idea over at Scrapbookers Club House. We are doing one card per week to help motivate us with goals. Mine is full of quotes about being positive about myself. It helps me to find some great things to live by. Sorry here are a bunch together but from now on it will be just one a week. I am doing the front and back of the card, I cut them to card size (2 1/2 x 3 1/2) instead of altering playing cards, but you could do either. It's fun and I like making these little creations so much I may have to come up with more to do!

Another Sketch and page

I did the most recent sketch over at Creatively Yours. I added the sketch turned here so you could see how it fit my interpretation. That's the thing I love about using sketches to scrapbook. It's so very versatile. You can turn them and flip them and add whatever you want. I love having sketches as a "springboard" to designing my own pages. Also we are doing an All About Me challenge album at Never Been Kissed Scrappers, so this is my first page for that! Double duty here!

A Christmas Eve Discussion

Just thought I'd share this little video I took of Quinton on Christmas Eve. He's funny. I love how kids are when you are trying to coax answers out of them. I'm going to share our Christmas pics later this week. Enjoy!

The Dweebiest of All...

Every Christmas my family gets together and does a white elephant game, better known as "dweebies." Each year the competition gets a little more lax but secretly we are all dying to have the best of the best dweebies. Yesterday we did this little game and I was quite impressed with Bryan's gift, which he won courtesy of Kristy. I just had to laugh!

9 years...a couple of kids...and a few pounds!

Today Bryan and I celebrate 9 years being married. It's so crazy how time has just flown by. I just can't believe how incredibly lucky I am.
Bryan has been there every single, grueling step of the way. He's been my nurse after several surgeries and after giving birth to two children. He has been my confidante when no one else could listen. He's my rock when I'm weak. He's my personal religious consultant.

He's an incredible father to two boys who love him so much and both squeal when "daddy" walks through the door. He has stood by me in both good and bad times and I feel so lucky for it all! I love him so much and would do anything for him. He's my best friend and my eternal companion.
I have rarely seen a man look at a woman they way Bryan looks at me. I use to never be able to appreciate this but have learned to love it and even look for it on occasion. After 9 years together I don't imagine I could feel any happier. But I know with each passing day I will get happier and happier.

Thanks baby for 9 amazing years and your strength and love! Happy Anniversary!

A little weekday fun...

Quinton had been begging to do a ginger bread house. We find this all inclusive kit at Wal Mart...so here you have it. Dad did most of the work and Q was insistant that it look exactly like the picture on the box, but we gave up on that idea half way through. He loved how it turned out and looked at it lovingly for about 5 min then said..."Ok let's eat it!"

There are days...

Ya know when there are just some days when things hit you. HARD! Today has been one of those for me. I just have had some things come back into my mind that have been hard to deal with. I just want to say I am so sorry for all the dumb things I've done in my life and yet I am so blessed to have such a great family around me. I am so blessed to have a husband who loves me and is so devoted. He's so great. I love my boys and the joy they bring to me, even when they are turkeys. I am amazed whenever I think about my Savior Jesus Christ and what he has done for me in this life and for each and every person. Even though I've had heartache, lost friends and made new ones, all in all I feel so blessed. I just want all my family to know how much I love them. And my hubby to know how amazed I am by him. I'm more in love with him every day. I am so happy that we have the chance to be together forever. I know there are many cousins, friends etc who have gone or are going through some tough times right now and I just want you to know that I pray for each of you often. I love all Bryan's cousins like my own, well I see them more actually! Thanks for letting me be me and all the love you give. BIG HUGS!

Another Happy little moment

I just wanted to tell everyone, especially those that support my scrapbook love and habits, that I just made my first ever Design Team (DT!) I am going to be designing from sketches by a fantastic lady named Noella at Creativly Yours Sketches. I can hardly believe it's real. But I do think my LO I did for the DT call was pretty awesome (pictured here!).

I am so excited that I can hardly stand it. Now I will get to actually scrap more with a purpose, or at least I'm hoping for it to inspire me!

So Happy I could cry

I decided to re-join WW online and get my butt in gear. Well this week things went wrong when I got super sick on Tuesday night and haven't worked out the rest of the week. I've been trying to still eat ok but I haven't. Well today was weigh in day and I have already lost my first 5 lbs. This is week 3 for me doing WW again and I'm already feeling so different. I am enjoying my work outs and actually eating fruits and veges willingly and readily. Anyway just wanted to share. Now I guess I'll gain it all back when we go pig out at dinner tonight!

Happy Scrappy Day

Saturday Michelle, Kristy and I went scrapbooking pretty much all day. Not that we don't have fun other times but it just seemed so much more fun than usual! I laughed and realized how lucky I am to have such amazing women in my life, who not only are my relatives but dear friends. I know if it weren't for them I would not be where I am today. I would not love myself for who I am and I would not ever have the encouragement to go on and lose weight and do my scrapbooking etc.
So here's my work I did I hope you enjoy it.
And I love you so much Michelle and Kristy.

Somedays you just remember...

You know I always know I love my husband but somedays you just get hit with a realization. I have an amazing husband. I do not know how or why I am so blessed. He is so supportive of everything I do. He listens when I want to vent. He hugs when I cry. He helps with the kids, he plays with them, he reads to them, he tickles them til they pee! I just love him so much. I know I have often taken him for granted but I am so happy to be with a wonderful, forgiving, understanding man. I am so glad he didn't kick me to the curb every time I made a bad choice. He is just so great. I just felt like I needed to express my love for my dear sweet Bryan today! Next month we will have been married 9 years and I just can't wait to spend all of my eternities with him.
I love you my Pelduo!
