Happy Halloween!

Because of our recent move we didn't go all out for Halloween this year. When I remembered the lion costume was in the box we worked on Quinton to convince him to be a safari/lion hunter. So even for not being real prepared I think they look so cute. I took a ton of pictures this afternoon trying to get good shots of them, because I knew I wouldn't be able to tonight. Well here are a few of my favorites. I'm not the photographer Kristy is but I tried to make my own little psuedo photographer set up here!

Happy Haunting everyone!

Happy Birthday to you...

...dear Bryan! Happy Birthday to you! Wow my honey is 33 today. I really can't believe it. I just wanted to tell everyone to wish my wonderful man a happy birthday. He's just being lazy today and then I'm taking him to lunch. I am so thrilled he took the day off to spend time with me just doing nothing. That's one of my favorite things about him is he's so kicked back. He's wonderfully amazing. He's a great father and husband. There are too many good qualities to list but anyone that knows him really knows what an awesome guy he is. He's so loving and forgiving and so ready to help others, (even when I complain about it or he may not really want to do it.) I love you so much baby. You are my life!

A Book List...

...everyone talks about their bucket list these days after the acclaimed movie of the same name put it into our little minds. Well I just finished a book in 3 days that I normally would have never read. But in effort to get to know some ladies in my ward I joined a book club and this was the book they assigned us. (The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, by Alexandar McCall Smith.) I'm certain it was an Oprah's book club, which is generally a turnoff for me because those of you that know me well know how much I'd like to just drop kick Oprah. I quite enjoyed it as I have always enjoyed reading but rarely indulge is this pasttime anymore as I tend to get very absorbed in a book and forget that I have to eat and go to the bathroom and oh that I have two children to attend to.

Well I started a Book List. Just a simple list of books I'd like to read before I die. I know I will never get to the billions and billions of incredibly grand books out there, and think why can I not write these best-sellers? I mean come on Beck says I have the writers line right there on my right hand next to my life line and my head line...geez!

I'm asking you my dear blog readers (ok all 4 of you), to post in your comment a good book you've read lately, and the author, and a very brief description. I may just add it to my book list. And if I do read a book you suggested perhaps I shall send you a book mark or soemthing!

Reunited...and it feels soooo good...

Come on you know the tune! FINALLY!! We have internet again. We're very happy. Now to catch up to everyone's blogs, etc. Don't feel bad if I don't comment. It's hard to catch up. I did some scrapping with my internet loss, so I'll have to post my pages that I like. So glad to be back. Kinda pathetic how dependant I am on my internet.
