Here's a picture I took today of my two precious boys. They don't look a ton a like in coloring but I think they have some similiar features for sure. They are so cute and precious. Quinton is always wanting to hold Zane and says he just can't ever stop kissing him because he's so cute. I hope they always will like each other this much, even with their night and day differences.

I know that as life gets busy how much we tend to take things for granted. I was looking at these pictures I made Bryan took and thought, Wow I'm so blessed so this is my post tribute to my beautiful blessings that make my days worthwhile.
I love being a mom because:
1. No one needs you more than the kids (even when you wish they'd leave you alone.)
2. Looking in their eyes makes Heaven seem so much closer
3. Funny things they say
4. Loves and kisses
5. Special things that only mom can do
6. Knowing that no matter what you will always be their mom and NO ONE can ever take that place.
7. Fun gifts (I've loved all my mother's day gifts so far)
8. The realization that you have a bigger heart than you thought you did, and that it has enough love to hold your children.
9. Hearing them say something you had said and realizing that even though we don't think they do they actually hear us.
10. Unconditional love and eager forgiveness.
So these aren't in any special order just some things I pondered today. I love my boys so much and the wonderful man who is their father that gave me the gift of becoming a mother.

Yesterday was Quinton first day back to pre-school. He's going again to A Leap Ahead Preschool, in our neighborhood. He was so excited to go and honestly I was glad to have him go too, just because he loves it so much. I took a few pictures of him all geared up to go and this really cute one of him at his desk. He's already remembering a lot of things they learned last year and I am looking forward to hearing about the things he'll learn again. It scares me to think though that next year at this time I'll have a kindergartener.

More photos of the family party. Here we have Zane with Dad, Zane 3 weeks old, with Lexie 1 week old, Lisa and Rory's little girl (in case you can't tell that baby is Lisa's), more of the Rodeo roundup, Dallin wearing his "Junk" horse (who knows...), and Grandma and Grandpa Fail dancing with Robin.

On Saturday Sept 8, we went up to Ophir, to hang out with Bryan's incredibly large extended family for the Fail annual reunion. Ophir eh? What? Yeah that's what I said, but it's this little town just past Stockton, which is just past Tooele. They family had rented the entire Ophir Park for the weekend. We only made it up there for Saturday because I just didn't want to go camping with a 3 week old. We had a lot of fun though and like always it's nice to see the family, even if it is 100 people! (though this year it was much smaller).
Quinton loved riding in the "train" around the park the most and Wendy was nice enough to tote those kids around and around about 1000 times. (Quinton said I'll remember Wendy because it's like the Wendy's place, except her hair is different.)
Saturday night we all had to make these "horses" to go to dinner and have a fun little rodeo roundup. Bryan won the prize for the most original "horse," being that it was a sea horse.
We are glad we made it up there for the day and look forward to more fun with the family next year.
A big thanks to Elena and her family for being in charge this year and making it so fun. It was nice to have all the fun stuff for the kids especially.
And enjoy the photos!
