WOW! I did it!

Ok so again I know that many of you that read my blog and have been running or are in good shape think oh please you're such a wimp! But I'm proud to say I went out for my second week of my little 5K training and I did it. It was a ton easier than I was expecting especially after a holiday weekend of packing away food like nobody's busisness! I put on my distance meter expecting that I probably went about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile at best...well turns out I went 1.5 miles. I didn't jog the whole thing cuz that's not the program but I did my alternating intervals and they really are getting easier! I don't think I'm going to ever run a marathon or even a half one cuz truley jogging is no my favorite exercise but I'm pretty happy about these little successes.

You go girl! I did the c25k a couple of years ago. I couldn't believe I could do it either. But, I did and it felt so great. I haven't run a 5k since but I still think it was one of my greatest accomplishments. You can do it too. Just take it one week at a time.

Go for it Jana! That is awesome! I just ran a 5k and it felt so good to finish!
