I scrapped yesterday....a true miracle!

So one of my fav things to do is scrapbook but for some odd reason lately I'd rather barf! Well yesterday the mood struck. I know that my pages aren't as fantastic as some but I enjoy what I do and love the creativity. Here's the one I did.

Journaling says: "I have been so blessed to have a fantastic mom. She amazes me. She's been my mom and my friend through many difficult times. I get told I'm a lot like her, and I love the compliment."

"Hey I put some new shoes on....

....and suddenly everything's right."

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE shoes, I have a little love affair with many of my shoes. I am currently the owner of 55 pair of shoes. And last night I added these adorable ones at a shoe party at Kristy's house. 4 The Love of Shoes, is an in home shoe party, so cool and great shoes! They are so booked out so I'm having a party but not until Dec. 11th. SO that gives everyone plenty of time to put it on their calendar. Shoes are great. They make me happy.

OH and my sorta freak out of the day is that it just hit me that my baby is going to be in Kindergarten! What?! I'll be honest, I'm very much looking forward to it. It'll be good for him, he gets so bored at home and it'll be good for me. Maybe I'll have time to scrap more often. Next Thurs. Aug 21st he goes for his Pre-K evaluation then the week after starts school. He's thrilled. I just can't believe my Quinton is growing up that fast! I can't imagine what Kristy feels like, when her oldest suddenly is a 14 year old! Wowzers!

I'm proud!

Even though I think they are nuts, Kristy and Tracey successfully completed their half marathon this morning! Yesterday I got this idea we should go see them at the finish line, so I called Michelle then my mom asked Maddison and Sarah if they wanted to go and we kept it a secret from Kristy, so we could surprise them. Boy am I glad we went. As they came across the end of the line we were there cheering and had this signs. I think truly I have never seen that girl more genuinly surprised! Way to go guys I'm so proud of you. It'll be a miracle if I can even make it through the 5k!

So mom Lee said she didn't like that she couldn't make comments on anyone's blog so I helped her set up her own. 3 weeks and feeling fine...

So it's been 3 weeks tomorrow, since Zane had his surgery and he's doing great. He was being pretty silly this morning so I took some photos of him.
